Reiver – main

Formerly the Border Reiver, this was the last pub to be built under the Scheme and it opened around the time the government announced that all the state-controlled pubs were to be sold off, in 1971. It was built to meet demand from people living in the new housing estates being built in an area where there were no other pubs.
